Thomas & Guys Academy was established in 1999. In 1980, it started as a renowned hair salon in Malaysia, where its stylists were exclusively appointed as hairstylists for news anchors and guests on Malaysia’s national TV channels, TV1 & TV2. During the 1990s and 2000s, the academy participated in various hairstyling competitions, winning numerous awards and gaining widespread recognition for its reputation and quality within the industry.
Currently, there are two academies in Malaysia. The main academy is located within a building in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, at Jln Tun Perak, covering an area of approximately 3,000 square feet. The branch academy is situated in Johor Bahru’s city center, inside Fuzhou Plaza, with a similar area of about 3,000 square feet. The academy has successfully trained over 5,000 students, turning them into professional hairstylists.

With over 19 years of experience in salon operations and technical management, along with more than 15 years of expertise in hairdressing education, I have participated in various model styling designs for renowned fashion brands’ promotional events. I have worked as a colorist, stylist, hairdressing lecturer, education mentor, and technical director.
With over 26 years of experience in salon operations and technical management, as well as more than 23 years of expertise in hairdressing education, I have served as an instructor for training courses at several international chain hair salons.
